Landscaping, installation vidéo d’Eszter Salamon filmée près de Bergen en Norvège, nous plonge dans un monde où l’homme et la nature tentent de coexister autrement. Dans un futur proche, les vivants n’ont eu d’autre choix que de s’allier aux océans, aux arbres et aux racines pour survivre. D’étranges créatures, faites de débris rejetés par l’océan, survivent en symbiose avec les éléments qui les entourent. Nomades, elles voyagent d’île en île, suivant la course du soleil et se connectant au cosmos. Ailleurs, au coeur d’une immense forêt, une autre communauté vénère les arbres et s’habille des vestiges du monde humain. Leurs corps se fondent dans l’humus et la mousse, dans un rêve d’union avec le grand poumon vert qui les abrite. Entre fable post-apocalyptique et réflexion écologique, Landscaping interroge notre lien aux paysages qui nous façonnent. Un voyage visuel fascinant, où l’humain se cherche une place dans un monde qu’il a trop longtemps malmené.
