Après Madame Plaza, Ottof, Corbeaux et Jerada, Bouchra Ouizguen, figure majeure de la danse contemporaine au Maroc revient au Centre Pompidou avec une nouvelle création singulière.
L’Éléphant de Bouchra Ouizguen est un corps collectif fragmenté, traversé par les mouvements des interprètes de sa compagnie, chanteuses et musiciennes issues de la tradition populaire marocaines, qui lui prêtent leur voix et leurs identités. Oscillant entre éclats et sobriété, la différence autant que ce qui lie est magnifiée et révèle le caractère précieux et subversif au sein de l’individu comme du collectif. Les interprètes s’emploient à transmettre cette puissance et cette fragilité, à la recherche constante de nouveaux (dés)équilibres perpétuellement en passe de disparaître, évoquant l’éphémère du présent.

Il est recommandé de se présenter 15 minutes avant le début de chaque séance ou activité.
